Our Story

We met, started dating, and graduated from the University of Georgia. I got a comical Great Dane named “Georgia” who is now our 125 lbs. “baby”.

I moved out to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Grant landed his first job. After the summer, I started a master’s degree at the University of Alabama; at Christmas, we got engaged. Travel: Bahamas

We got married! Truly our marriage has been such wedded bliss. I moved to Atlanta, finished my MLIS, and began working in non-profit world. We made a deal to get out of the country at least once a year for as long as we could and travel as often as possible. Travel: Mexico

We semi-adopted a kid named Evan. He was 17-18 and needed to get back on his feet between high school and college. I’m happy to say that he’s doing well at the University of Georgia and should graduate December of 2015. So proud! Travel: Italy

I transitioned from one stellar non-profit to another – I have had the pleasure of working with some of the best people on the planet. Travel: Ireland and England

We moved to London, UK and returned to grad school: MA in Publishing Studies (me) and MBA (Grant). Grant got a consultantship with an American company in the emerging market in China, so we moved to Shanghai for the summer of 2012. Travel (’11-’12): England, France, Portugal, Hungary, Switzerland, Greece, China, Thailand, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Iceland, USA

Dissertation, graduation, and re-entry into the States, 23 visitors and 14 countries later!

I began my business with Rodan+Fields partnering with the Doctors who created Proactiv Solution – best job EVER! Read more. We bought a Subaru! We bought a house! Travel: Jamaica, England (twice!)

What more could you ask for than unending love and unlimited adventure? I posted a series on fertility, which has gone a bit viral.
